Asscher Cut Diamond Rings
The Asscher cut diamond was created by the Asscher Brothers of Holland’s Asscher Diamond Company from Holland in 1902. The Asscher cut is often mistaken for the Emerald cut diamond, although the obvious difference is that the Asscher cut is actually square or octagonal in shape rather than rectangular like the emerald cut. Due to the Asscher cut’s high crown and large facets, it is most known for its “hall of mirrors” reflective visual effect.
